Following the public consultation exercise for the HLF restoration project where numerous requests for a children’s play area were recorded, the HLF Park for People Project’s main consultant, LDA Design ran workshops with local school children to develop concepts for a well-furnished play area.

The site is located within a small copse (that developed over the last 40 years), accessed by the Greenway (public footpath and cycle track) linking the main car park to Forty Hill Primary School and Maiden’s Bridge.

THE PLAY AREA IS OPEN FOR USE.
