I have been coming to Forty Hall since I was six years old because my mum works here, so coming in and introducing myself to the staff & volunteers that work here wasn’t so hard because I know most of them.

I was looking forward to trying new things and doing different activities and I was not disappointed.

I was hoping that my time at Forty Hall would help me become more of a team player and be able to work better with people. I had already done volunteer work at the hall and wanted to see what other things went on behind the scenes and how everything was done.

Organising my application was very easy as all I had to do was fill in a form and there was no interview necessary.

Everyone at Forty Hall is very welcoming and any questions you have you don’t have to hesitate to ask, because people are more than willing to answer any questions you have and are always willing to help.

During my time here I have done a variety of things such as helping set up events and functions in the long gallery and planning activities for the Playscheme children. Thanks to these tasks and many more I have been able to improve my interpersonal skills with both staff and members of the public. It has been really a fantastic experience.
