Unfortunately this Conservation Work Party to plant up the pond island on Sunday 2 April, has been postponed.

Despite our best attempts to temporarily prevent birds from accessing the island to allow us time to plant, a moorhen has found its way onto the island and started building a nest.

As all wild birds, their nests and eggs are protected under the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 from disturbance we will postpone this task until the nesting period is over. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
