Come and discover who has been invited to dine at Nicholas Rainton’s Black History Banquet from the last four centuries and what their lives were like.

Take a seat at the Banqueting Table and join in conversations in role, play Parlour Games and feast off tidbits of historical information to help you meet and bring to life guests ranging from John Blanke, an accomplished musician who is likely to have performed in Elsyng Palace in the 1500s to Chris Ofili, a Young British Artist who questioned racial stereotypes through his Art and won the Turner Prize in 1889.

This Banquet is delivered as part of Black History Month and is intended to add value to your visit to the Hall - offering a new and exciting dimension to the existing exhibition!

Don't miss this - it is only on for one month!
