Join Our Volunteer Team at Forty Hall

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team. If you enjoy meeting people, learning new skills and spending time in a beautiful historic setting, we would love to hear from you.

We have three volunteer roles available:

Gift Shop Volunteer
Support our gift shop by greeting visitors, helping them choose souvenirs and keeping the shop well presented. This role is perfect for anyone who enjoys customer service and creating a friendly, relaxed experience for guests.

Tour Guide
If you enjoy storytelling and are interested in heritage, this role offers the chance to guide visitors through Forty Hall and share its fascinating history. Full training and support are provided. All you need is enthusiasm and a willingness to engage with visitors.

Front of House/ Steward
Be one of the first friendly faces that visitors encounter. As a volunteer, you will welcome guests, help them find their way around the site, and support the overall visitor experience. Volunteers will also steward at events, ensuring our visitors feel informed, comfortable, and well looked after. This is a wonderful opportunity for anyone who enjoys chatting, meeting new people, and engaging with the public.
