Poetry Competition Awards and Reading (Enfield Poets Literary Festival)

Join us for a celebration of the Enfield Poets' Poetry Competition 2026 as this year's winners are announced and invited to read their award winning poems.
The event will also feature a special reading from this year's judge, Hannah Copley, an acclaimed poet and Senior Lecturer in Creative Writing at the University of Westminster. Hannah is the author of Speculum (2021) and Lapwing (2024), the latter a Poetry Book Society Summer Recommendation and a nominee for the 2024 T. S. Eliot Prize. She is also the host of the popular Soho Poly Poetry series in Central London and an editor at the long running literary magazine Stand.
This special event offers an opportunity to hear outstanding new work from local poets alongside a reading from one of the UK's leading contemporary poetry voices.
The Enfield Poets Literary Festival is a celebration of words, voices and creativity in our community, bringing together established and emerging writers for readings, workshops, discussions and more.
