Open Evening For Primary Teachers and Support Staff at Forty Hall, Thursday 14th June, 4.30 - 5.30pm

Forty Hall Education Team and The Enfield Society would like to invite you to join us for an open evening at Forty Hall on June 14th, 4.30-5.30pm.

You will be able to find out about what is on offer in terms of Education Sessions and Loan Boxes for your pupils and classes from the Education Officers including what will be new for September.

Local historian Joe Studman will introduce you to what’s special and unique about the local history of the Enfield area in an informative and entertaining short talk.

Enfield Museum Staff and our wonderful Education Volunteers will also be on hand with ideas about how to bring local history to life for your classes and use the museum's collections.

Copies of a new publication by The Enfield Society 'The Enfield Book 2017: A Young Explorer's Guide' put together specially for young people children and families to help them explore the area and its history will be available to browse and purchase.

You will also get the chance to explore Forty Hall and try out tasks, resources and activities from a pupil perspective helped by our wonderful costumed characters.

As always, we would love to hear suggestions, feedback and ideas from our local network of teachers and teaching and learning support staff so please share!

A free glass of prosecco will be provided and you will be able to mingle with other teachers in the Borough.

Please RSVP before the 1st June, thank you.

Looking forward to seeing you,
