Work is continuing in developing the interpretation to tell the story of Sir Nicholas Rainton and the other owners of Forty Hall as well as the story of Elsyng Palace and the Estate.

Our interpretation company, PLB have been busy refining the details of the display and, using the years of research undertaken, have been developing the story for our visitors.

Mixing historical artefacts with new displays and some hands on activities, the hall will be a place which people can enjoy while also learning about an important time in the history of Britain and Europe.

Over the coming months we will be continuing to develop the customer experience for the hall to help bring visitors back to the 17th Century.
