The Hall reopened to the public on 30th June 2012, following a major restoration project.

Our new interpretive exhibition explores the life and times of Sir Nicholas Rainton, life in the seventeenth century and the story of Forty Hall & Estate. With many engaging resources for all of the family to enjoy a visit to the Hall promises to be inspirational, educational and fun!

Don’t forget to book yourself on to one of our tours whilst you’re here. With three to choose from, each tour will give you an alternative insight in to Forty Hall & Estate and Jacobean life.

An information leaflet is available upon arrival to help you on your visit.

Be sure to pick up a souvenir of your visit from the The Cedar Gift Shop.

Forty Hall looks set to be a triumph, it is that very rare thing, a local initiative done to international standards. Enfield, and indeed the whole of London, should be proud of it.
